Dear Jeff,

I am truly sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was a good man. I remember him from your football days at Sallies. He was always interested in you as a player and as a student. I later got to know him as a fellow alumni helping out in many ways around the school. He was a true Salesian. I hope that his scholarship fund will help to keep his memory alive at Salesianum forever.

I was saddened to learn of John's passing. I recognized his photo-approximately 10 years ago I had the honor and pleasure to work with John at Legislative Hill when I was a House attorney. He always had the time to talk to everyone and had a story to tell with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. In his own quite way he made an impression on me that I still remember after all these years. May the angels welcome you home John. My true condolences to his entire family. Sincerely, Mary E. Joanne, I was sorry to learn that your father had passed away; he was a great man. I always looked forward to seeing him whether at an Ursuline game, Sallies affair or legislative hall. He was warm, gracious and humble, unless you asked him about his grandchildren!!! I think St Francis de Sales had him in mind when he was looking for a prototype for a Salesian gentleman. Nothing diminishes sorrow when a loved one dies,
but our Christian faith teaches us we will be together again. I look forward to seeing him at that time; may he rest in peace. My best to Paul; I would love to get update on Stephanie and Courtney.
