I knew Evelyn only briefly in the weeks before her death. It was a pleasure caring for her and meeting her lovely, devoted family in the hospital. Several times she offered an unsolicited compliment about my tie, so I began to choose one in the morning just to brighten up her day (and mine) on rounds! A very small, but memorable way that two lives touch upon each other.

Hard to see someone we love so much leave us. Remembering the wonderful times does help ease the pain. I'm thinking of you and your family during your time of sorrow. I remember you speakng of your grandmother often and how much you loved her. Your thoughts are in my prayers. Barbara

Oh how we miss Evelyn already. She leaves us all with a hole in our hearts. Evelyn was the best friend everyone wants in their lives. She was aMother to nine wonderful children who will carry on her legacy. She our "Mother" too and a Grandmother to our children. She was truly "Special", always happy and always positive. How lucky my family was to have her as part of our family.
