Diane McCrabb Krupa

Diane McCrabb Krupa went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 12, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Originally from Glenn Mills, PA, daughter of the late Jacob and Cora McCrabb, Diane, lovingly known as Dee and GiGi, graduated from Unionville High School and completed her education at Penn State University with a degree in nursing. Her entire career of 35 years was spent at Christiana Care as a psychiatric nurse.

Dee enjoyed her time baking, reading, taking trips to the beach, doing crafts and spending time with friends and family. She will be remembered for her ability to light up a room, her infectious giggle and her mischievous sense of humor, but most of all, her passion for helping others.

Dee is survived by her children, Amy Thynge, Heather and Jeremy Green; her cherished grandchildren, Collin, Blake, Gabrielle and Logan; her brothers, Don and Drew McCrabb and their families.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek, Wilmington, DE 19808 on Thursday, July 19 from 12:00-1:00PM, with a memorial service immediately following.  A late luncheon to celebrate Dee’s memory will be held following services at Deerfield Country Club, 507 Thompson Station Road, Newark, DE 19711.
