Dennis J. Sloman

Dennis J. Sloman, 80, of Hockessin, DE passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017.

Dennis was born in Greenville, MA on August 3, 1937, son of the late Robert and Grace (Johnston) Sloman.  A graduate of Conrad High School and the University of Delaware, he was employed as an engineer with DuPont.  Dennis was a past coach with Newark National Little League.  He enjoyed traveling, had an ear for many styles of music, and was an avid animal lover.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Barbara (Scully) Sloman.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Mary K. (Berrie) Sloman; his sons, Glen and Gary; his grandsons, Robert and Nicholas; his step children, AnneMarie DiJohn (John Henning) and Andrew DiJohn (Dr. Chamisa Macindoe); his sister, Jean Sloman.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a graveside funeral service at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle on Monday, October 9 at 2:00PM.
