Our fridge at home is plastered with pictures of you Brett. In each one you are in my arms or at my feet with your arms raised up to me. With your arms raised so you remind me of the Christ child. Give to us in our grief your childblike confidence in our God to comfort us. You new you were ment for greater heights like an eagle! My hope is that you know you were never alone in your quest for love and salvation. It was my number one priority. You and your cousins are what brought my spirit to life. Keep an eye on us from your heavenly realm. Fly over our house and into our hearts and devour the flames of our grief untill we race with ardent love to you and all our dearly departed in heaven. Oh my love. May God keep you.

Marianne, We are so sorry to hear of Brett's death. Jeff and all of us remember the Piedmont days so fondly. My heart goes out to you, no one knows a son like a mother. I will hold you close to God and pray for your consolation. Don't hesitate to reach out.

You were definitely one of a kind and will truly be missed Stout. I'll never forget our conversations and the love/hate friendship we had. I wish I could make it tomorrow but I won't be able to take time from work, just know I am thinking of you and your family in these hard times. Until we meet again 💙✝️

Marianne and family. Very sad to hear the sad news of Brett's passing. He is one of our favorite memories from Piedmont baseball. Always making us laugh with his quirkiness. So many happy memories. May the good memories outshine your sorrow.

Marianne, Jake, Lauren, Rich & Hazel,
So deeply sorry for your loss, I can't even begin to imagine. No words can adequately express my sympathy. Words seem so hollow when you are experiencing such a loss. "To be absent from the body and present with the Lord" is of little comfort. Please know that his Dad welcomed him home and I hope that brings some comfort and know that these Angels are watching over all of you.

This is incomprehensible. The only thoughts of comfort I can think of...he is not in pain anymore and he is with God and John. Mere words cannot express the sorrow I feel for you Marianne, Lauren and Jake.
