Brenda Dernowski-Morgan

Brenda Dernowski-Morgan passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in the comfort of her home while surrounded by loving family members.  She was 59.

Born in Wilmington on April 22, 1959, Brenda was the daughter of Joseph and Irene (Chudzik) Dernowski.  She was a graduate of St. Elizabeth High School, class of 1977, and immediately began her career with the DuPont Company, having recently retired after 40 years of service.  Brenda was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend.

Brenda is survived by her mother, Irene Dernowski; her brother, Joseph Dernowski (Susan); her three children, Andrew Desmond, Alaina Desmond Walters (Mike), and Lauren Desmond; her three beloved grandchildren, Andrew Desmond, Bennett Walters, and Brooks Walters; a very loving friend, Sherry Morgan, who was like a sister. 

She was predeceased by her father, Joseph Dernowski.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation at St. Elizabeth Church, Cedar and Clayton Streets, Wilmington on Monday, October 15 from 9:30-11:00AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following the visitation.  Interment will be held privately.
