Betty Lamb (Ademski) Fetters

Betty Lamb Fetters, 83 of Wilmington, DE, passed away at home on Wednesday, August 9, 2017.

Betty was born in Wilmington, daughter of the late Paul and Helen Ademski. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. After raising her family, Betty worked as an administrative assistant at DuPont. Upon her retirement, she worked at the Hagley Museum.  

She enjoyed gardening, painting, and especially loved golf. She enjoyed traveling after retirement but above all else, she cherished the time she spent with her family.

Betty is survived by her husband, James Fetters; her children, Richard Lamb (Dawn), Mitzie Horning (James) and Stephanie Lamb Eckrich; her step-children, James Fetters, Jr. (Donna), Michael Fetters (Colleen), and Judy Price (Thomas); her grandchildren, Patrick Lamb, Anthony Nepi, Lauren Perrone, Jeremy Eckrich, Jessica Eckrich, and Staci Lamb; her step-grandchildren, Thomas Price, Jr., Andrew Price, Mary Kate Fetters, James Fetters III, Ian Fetters, Matthew Fetters, and Danielle Fetters; and 5 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her first husband, Euie Lamb; and her son, Patrick Lamb.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, August 14, 2017 at the Doherty Funeral Home, 1900 Delaware Avenue, Wilmington, DE 19806, where family and friends can visit beginning at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery.
