Allen J. Stevens, Jr Obituary

Allen J. Stevens Jr., 66, of Hockessin, Delaware passed away peacefully after a hard fight surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, February 22, 2018.

Al was born in Scranton, PA on Sept. 4, 1951, son of the late Mary Ann and Allen Stevens Sr. He loved all things Ford; driving them, selling them, collecting models and watching them in NASCAR races.

Al will be dearly missed by his wife, Christine and their children; Jennifer & husband, Dan Schimpf, Allen & wife, Megan and Stephanie and by his 3 grandsons whom he adored; Dylan, AJ and Quinton. He is also survived by his sister, Cheryl Cooper and her children, Jackie and Travis, as well as numerous other cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Wednesday, February 28 from 5:00-7:00pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 7200 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin on Thursday, March 1 at 10:00 AM.  Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
