Veteran Services

There is nothing that pays tribute to our deceased veterans more than military honors for those who proudly served our country. Military Honors include a gun salute, flag presentation and the playing of "Taps" following committal services at the cemetery. We can arrange for your family, a respectful and fitting tribute to honor your loved one.

To further commemorate the deceased veteran, your family can personalize the casket of your choice with military crest inscription on the casket or military symbols or flag embroidering on the inside panel of the casket lid. These choices are available from the Serve and Protect section of our Meaningful Memories^© room.

For those Delaware residents who are eligible, there are two Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery sites available, located in Bear and Georgetown. A simple application for burial and the veterans DD214 discharge papers are required. To assist families who have not preapplied, we have the necessary application for eligibility.
