Steven D. Domenici

Steven D. Domenici, 58 of Wilmington, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 29, 2016.

Steve was born in Syracuse, NY and spent his life growing up in Jamestown, NY. He married the love of his life Michelle Johnson in 1981 and in 1986 moved to Delaware, where He and Michelle started their family. Steve worked as a Customer Service Engineer for DecisionOne.

Steve’s greatest blessings in life were his children, Taylor and Jonathan. Steve enjoyed family trips to Chautauqua Lake in New York and shared a love of fishing with his son. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Buffalo Bills and the Philadelphia Phillies. Steve shared a love of artwork and antiquing with his wife, Michelle. He shared his daughter’s enthusiasm for dancing and teaching. Steve had a special place in his heart for his family pets, Maddie and Brie. Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family and especially cherished his granddaughter, Gianna.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Michelle; his children, Taylor, and Jonathan and his fiancé, Denise; his granddaughter, Gianna; his mother, Claire Anderson; his sisters, Patricia Hober, Suzanne Walker, Kathy Kline and their families; sister-in-law, Janelle Weilacher and family; mother-in-law Martha Johnson; along with a host of members of his extended family and his friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mario Domenici; and father-in-law, Charles Johnson.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, May 6th 2016 from 4:00 – 6:00pm at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 6:00pm.
