Richard P. Monigle, Jr.

Richard P. Monigle, Jr., Age 73, of Wilmington, DE left this world on Wednesday, November 18th, 2015 to join his beloved wife Patricia Monigle and other family members who predeceased him. 

Rich was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. 

He is survived by his daughters, Cheri Price (Edward), Sharon Kriznuski (Kurt), Theresa Monigle Younker (Jeffrey), 14 grandchildren,, and great-grandchildren, his in-laws, Sharon Monigle (Gerald deceased), Mary and John Fersch, Barbara and George Banks, and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 301 N. Bancroft Parkway, Wilmington, DE  19805 on Monday, November 23rd, at 11am. Burial will be held privately with the family.  Visitation will be held at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road Pike Creek on Sunday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm. 

The family requests that flowers be omitted and donations in memory of Rich may be sent to St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
