Patricia Ann (Davis) Greer

Patricia Ann Greer, 62, of Wilmington, Delaware peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 9, 2017.

Patti was born in Wilmington on April 5, 1955.  She was a graduate of Wilmington High School, class of 1973, where she was a member of the Cheerleading Squad.  Patti was an insurance agent with Sanderson (currently Albidress-Sanderson) Insurance Agency, having retired in 2014 after 23 years of dedicated service.    She possessed a sarcastic wit and feisty sense of humor.  Patti enjoyed Motown Music and loved a relaxing day on the beach.  She always strived to be compassionate and helpful to others, and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend.

She is predeceased by her parents, Lee R., Jr. and Charlotte (Cross) Davis and her husband of 26 years, Michael J. Greer, who passed away on June 20, 2017.

Patti will be dearly missed by her children, James Lincoln and wife, Denise, Jennifer Galvin and husband, Robert, and David Lincoln; her grandchildren, Benjamin, Natalie, Robert, Logan, David; her sister, Mary Lou DeStefano and husband, Vince; her brother, Lee R. Davis, III and wife, Roe and her many nephews, nieces, cousins and aunts.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Sunday, December 17 from 2:00-4:00PM.  Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 18 at 9:00AM, followed by interment in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
