Nicholas James LaManna

Nicholas J. LaManna, age 50, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018, surrounded by family.

He loved his children and adored his grandchildren whom referred to him as “Pop-Pop Nick”. 

Nick was a huge sports fan. The Philadelphia Flyers and New York Yankees were his two favorite teams; he also rooted for the 76ers and Miami Dolphins.

He is survived by his daughters, Christina Kaufmann, Alissa LaManna, and Nicole LaManna; his son, Nicholas LaManna; his grandchildren, John, Lily, Olivia, Aldous, Aubrey, Jacob, and Cid; his siblings, Louis DiSabatino, Wendy Kirsh, Christy Slagle, Douglas McClure, Jamie LaManna, and Gina Radcliff; his aunt, Linda DiSabatino; his father, James LaManna (Diane); and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and members of his extended family.

He was preceded in death by his mother and step father, Nancy and Doug McClure; and his grandparents, Edna and Louie DiSabatino.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, family and friends may visit beginning at 11:00am. Interment will take place at Cathedral Cemetery.
