Neil Flanigan

On June 6, 2017, we lost Neil Flanigan after a brief illness in Christiana Hospital.  He will always be remembered as the fun guy at family events, as a fierce competitor at any game, as a hard worker who was willing to help anyone at any time and for his compassion for all of the animals that he loved, especially his beloved dog Boo-Boo.

Neil was predeceased in death by his father, Francis X. Flanigan.  He is survived by his wife Michelle; his daughter, Stephanie; his parents, Anne and Bill Lyons; his sisters, Kim (Chuck) Corrigan, Georgiana (John) Hoffman and Lisa Keller; his brothers, Frank (Mary) Flanigan, Jr., Andrew Flanigan and Bill (Sharon) Lyons, Jr. and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Christiana Hospital for the outstanding care Neil received.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 10 at Corpus Christi Church, 905 New Road, Wilmington, DE, 19805 with visitation from 10 AM – 11 AM followed by mass at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales, 2200 Kentmere Parkway, Wilmington, DE  19806.
