We mourn the loss of Michael Topolski, 57, who left this earth after a short battle with cancer on Monday, August 24, 2015 with his wife by his side.
Formerly from New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Michael currently resided in Middletown, DE. He retired from Colonial Pipeline after 30 years of dedicated service and was currently employed with the State of Delaware, Facility Operations, as Superintendent at Emily P. Bissell Hospital
Michael is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Kathie, his son, whom he took great pride in, Michael Jr., his loving and dedicated sister, Christine Christy and her husband Anthony, his step-daughters, Cassey and Jazlyn, his In-Laws, Francis and Jean Hanson, as well as many extended family members and lifelong friends.
He was predeceased by his dearly loved parents, Joseph and Wanda Topolski and many other cherished loved ones
Special thanks to Dr. Kehagias, the wonderful staff at the Middletown ER, the staff working on the 6B oncology unit at the Christiana Hospital the Compassionate hospice staff and to all of you who sent prayers, encouragement and comfort.
A memorial service will be held at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road Pike Creek, on Saturday, August 29, at 11:30am, where friends may visit beginning at 10am. Burial will be held privately with the family in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, in Blackwood, NJ at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michael may be sent to St. Joseph's Church Restoration Fund, 1010 Liberty Street, Camden, NJ 08104
