Margaret Bonarigo passed away suddenly on February 6, 2016 at her home in Wilmington. Born in North Carolina to Nellie and Kemp Preston Goodwin on August 30, 1942, she was raised by Pearl and J.P. Moulder in Danville, VA.
Margaret met the love of her life at age 13, the boy next door, Paul Bonarigo. While stationed in Quantico, VA, they were married and moved to Wilmington. Together they owned and operated Westover Hair Designs and Marguerite’s Fashions. Margaret enjoyed cooking, shopping and spending time with her family.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Paul, of 56 years; daughters, Debora (Blaise) Saienni, Sandra (Michael) Lougheed, Monica (Christopher) Ryan, and Paula (Robert) Linder; as well as 13 grandchildren, Angelina Saienni (Andrew Calvarese), Dante (Nikki) Saienni, Anthony (Jennifer) Saienni, Jennifer (Joseph) Fowler, Daniel Lougheed, Kelly Ryan, Jeremy Ryan, Zachary Linder and Rebecca Linder and 2 great-grandchildren, Domenic and Lucia Saienni.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 12, at 11 AM at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 907 Milltown Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may visit beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment will be private.
