Kathleen A. George

Kathleen A. George, 69, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016. 

Kathleen was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Harvey and Laura (Pawley) Parry. A graduate of Conrad High School, former employee of ICI, the Park Restaurant and Happy Harry's/Walgreens, she was a talented cross-stitcher and completely devoted to her family. 

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Thomas A. George, daughter Maria (George) Shook, son-in-law Stephen, grandson Ian, and brother, Harvey Parry, III. 

Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday, September 28 from 5-8 pm at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Pike Creek where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 29 at 11:30 am. Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory can be made to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, 6 Herndon Avenue, Annapolis MD 21403.
