Kathleen M. Jones

Kathy passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, June 8, 2017.

A graduate of Conrad High School, class of 1975, Kathy was also a 1990 graduate of Delaware Technical & Community College, where she earned her degree in nursing.  She worked as a nurse at St. Francis Hospital and completed her career at The Terry Center for the State of Delaware. Kathy possessed a love of family and especially enjoyed being in the company of  her nieces and nephews. She was an avid Eagles fan. Kathy also had a love of animals, and had a special bond with her late dog, Bo.

Kathy is survived by her father, Robert E. Jones, Sr.; her brothers, Robert E., Jr. (Debbie), Timothy J., Sr. (Sandy), Stephen J. (Elaina); her sister, Mary A. Gant (Howard); her sister-in-law, Deanna Jones; her nieces and nephews, Robert III (Kyle), Rebecca, Laurel, Daniel Jr., Timothy Jr. (Erica), Katie, Clayton, Abigayle, Wesley; her great niece, Jaliyah; her great nephew, Liam.

Kathy was predeceased by her mother, Jane (Kienle); her brother, Daniel G., Sr.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation at Corpus Christi Church, 901 New Road, Elsmere on Monday, June 19 from 10:00-11:00AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM, followed by interment in All Saints Cemetery.
