My wife and I were truly saddened to read about Joe's passing. In my 20 years of coaching baseball, Joe was one of my favorites. I treasure my memories of coaching Joe. In later years, we saw each other many times and always relived our many good times together. Our sympathy to the family.

It is with great sorrow of learning the passing of a kind and respectful man. Joseph was the embodiment of a successful man of life. Not because of material possessions but the giving of himself to family, friends and the people he touched.
