John was such a gentle man. I loved going into Shamrock, whether it was for an order for our store (Newark Newsstand), stuff for our synagogue (Temple Beth El), or just to say hello if I was on Main Street and passing by. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Shamrock always handled our orders with grace and professionalism. John was always so proud of his children and so proud of his Irish Heritage. Rest In Peace, John.
