Jenna Marie Anderson

Jenna Marie Anderson, 28, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018.

Born in Elkton, Maryland on May 18, 1989, Jenna attended Caravel Academy, was a graduate of Middletown High School, and went on to attend Delaware Technical & Community College and Harris School of Business.  She was an avid, talented softball player and participated in many leagues, with most of her time spent with the Canal Softball League.  

Jenna’s greatest role in her short life was that of “Mommy” to her three beloved sons.  She was a loving and devoted mother, and was happiest when with her sons.  Jenna also enjoyed country music and hanging out with her sister, Meghan and her cousin, Jason.

Jenna will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her sons, William John “Johnny” Husbands, Nathaniel Dalton “Nathan” Hill, and James Richard Hilaman; her father, Richard H. Anderson; her mother and step-father, Karen and Peter Potocki; her grandparents, Grace Caprio, the late Henry Caprio, and Gertrude Farren; her sister and brother-in-law, Meghan and Dave Newman; her aunts (especially her late Aunt Yaya), uncles and cousins, including Jason Nally, whom Jenna regarded as a brother.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Thursday, April 19 from 10:00AM-12:00PM.  Funeral services will begin at 12:00PM, followed by interment in All Saints Cemetery.
