Hattie E. Loebe

Hattie Loebe of Wilmington Delaware passed away December 28, 2017 in Seasons Hospice at Christiana Hospital. Hattie was born in Wilmington to Josephine Sitewicz on April 17, 1932. Married to James Loebe of Wilmngton, she was the mother of four children, Patricia, James, John and Susan. She was a grandmother of four, Christine Nice, William Nice, Jr., Eva Greenholt, and Claudia Greenholt and great grandmother to Nicole Nice. 

Hattie graduated from The H. Fletcher Brown Technical High School and Memorial Hospital Practical Nursing program in 1962 and passed her boards in March of 1962. She proudly practiced nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 32 years. She enjoyed crafting, woodworking, painting, coloring and reading, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family. 

A private funeral will be held at All Saints Cemetery.   

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Delaware SPCA, 455 Stanton-Christiana Rd., Newark, DE 19713 or to the Delaware Humane Assoc., 701 A St., Wilmington, DE 19801.
