George Robert Heinly

George R. Heinly, Sr., age 66 of Wilmington, DE, passed away at home on Sunday, April 15, 2018.
He was born in Pottsville, PA, son of the late James and Marion (Fisher) Heinly. 
George was a hard working, kind-hearted and fun-loving man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and antiques, but most of all he cherished the time he spent with his family. 
He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Martha “Marty” (Roberts) Heinly; his son, George R. Heinly, Jr., (Tanya); his grandchildren, Brittany, Autumn, George III, and Sean; his great-granddaughter, Katalina ;his sister, Millie Morris (Frank);  his brother-in-law, Frank Roberts; his sister-in-law, Mary Plumsky (Richard); and several nieces, nephews, and members of his extended family. 
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his nephew,  Jimmy Morris. 
George’s family would like to thank the staff of New Century Hospice, especially Deborah, Paula and Daphne, for their care and compassion. 
A brief committal service will be held promptly at 1:00pm on Friday, April 20, 2018 at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808.
