Welcome to the memorial page for

Gejza J. Csoltko

February 25, 1942 ~ November 18, 2015 (age 73) 73 Years Old

Gejza J. Csoltko P.E., 73, of New Castle, DE passed away on Wednesday, November 18th, 2015.  Gejza was born in Kosice, Czechoslovakia during the communist era and was well-educated receiving advanced degrees in Forestry and Engineering from the University in Brno, Czechoslovakia. He served proudly in the Czechoslovakian military during periods of Soviet invasions. He relocated himself and his family to the United States in 1969 to pursue citizenship and greater freedoms.

Gejza had a passion for the sciences and engineering and furthered his education in American Universities and professional engineering societies.  He sought professional satisfaction working on complex development designs and seeing his designs implemented in construction.

Personally, Gejza was a loving husband, caring father, grandfather and friend enjoying life and all of its pleasures to the fullest.  He also took great pleasure in science fiction novels, planetary science journals and Star Trek. His family and friends remember him as a man of impeccable character and integrity.  He was a kind man, great friend and a true gentleman.

He is survived by his wife Marisa Borrelli, his son, Joseph P. Csoltko and his wife, Christina Fabris, their children Valentino and Violetta, and Amanda Csoltko, the daughter of his deceased son John M. Csoltko.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 9th and DuPont Streets Wilmington, on Wednesday, November 25, at 5PM., where visitation will be held in the church beginning at 4PM.  Interment will be held privately with the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gejza may be sent to your charity of choice.
