Fonnie Marie (Williams) Duzynski

Fonnie Marie Duzysnki, age 95 of Wilmington, DE, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 7th, 2015.

Marie worked at Electric Hose and Rubber for 12 years and at Memorial Hospital for 13 years. She volunteered at St. Elizabeth Church for many years – cleaning, counting money and cooking. In October 2104, she received the Order of Merit from the parish.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, George and Fonnie (Jones) Williams; her husband, Edward Duzynski; her daughter, Joyce Underhill; and her siblings, Howard Broomhall, Walter Williams, Georgetta DeAngelis and Betty Staker.

She is survived by her son, William Davidson and his wife, Wanda; her grandchildren, Kellie, Wendy and William, Jr; 6 great-grandchildren; and her special friend, Troy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Saturday, October 10th, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Church, Cedar and Clayton Streets, Wilmington, DE 19805, where family and friends may visit beginning at 9:30am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, Marie’s family suggests making contributions to St. Elizabeth Church at the address listed above.
