Brian D. Coleman

Brian D. Coleman, age 55, left this life way too soon on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017 after a short battle with cancer. 

Born in Houston, Texas but raised in Newark Delaware, Brian was the son of the late John and Dorothy Coleman.

Brian was a 1980 graduate of St. Marks High School.  He worked as a HVAC technician for Burns and McBride for many years. Brian was a true outdoorsman who loved crabbing, fishing and hunting.  He was a great brother and a friend who was always willing to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his seven siblings: Elaine Maggioli (Vic), Megan Coleman, John Coleman (Joan), Kathleen Albeck (Steve), Tim Coleman (Lisa), Moira Snider (Todd), Ellen Brown (Larry) and a host of nieces and nephews, and his pet bird, Zoey.

Please join us to celebrate his life on Monday, April 24th, 2017at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Pike Creek.  Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 am followed by a memorial service at 11:30.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Helen Graham Cancer Center, 4701 Ogletown-Stanton Road, Newark, DE 19713.
