Brett A. Stout

Brett Stout, of Newark, DE, passed away on June 11, 2017 at the age of 29.

He was the beloved son of John and Marianne Stout, the loving brother of Lauren (Rich) Schapiro and Jake Stout, and uncle of Hazel Ruth Schapiro. 

Brett graduated from A.I. Dupont High School in Greenville, De, in 2005. He attended Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Fl. From a very young age, Brett was an incredible baseball player. He played for Piedmont Baseball League and spent many years starring on traveling teams. The happiest days of our lives were watching Brett play ball. He was always surrounded by many friends and family members who loved him. Brett was an amazing son and the strength of our family. He will be missed by everyone who loved him – his cousins, aunts and uncles, and many longtime friends who cared for him deeply.

Brett had a large presence and he surrounded his younger brother Jake and sister Lauren with love always. His heart was large and giving and he will be missed every single day of our lives. 
Brett, we love you always and forever.
