Betty Louth Fetkenher

December 22, 1930 ~ June 26, 2017 (age 86) 86 Years Old


Betty Louth Fetkenher, 86 of Palmetto, FL, formerly of Newark, DE, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017.

She was born in Wilmington, DE, daughter of the late James T. and Kathryn (McGough) Louth.

In addition to raising her family, Betty worked as an office accounting clerk for Petrillo Brothers, retiring after 35 years. She loved attending her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's sporting events. She enjoyed traveling with her friends and spending time at the beach with her family. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Diocesan Mother's Guild.

A loving mother and grandmother, Betty is survived by her children Lynn and Louis McCloskey, and David and Rhonda Fetkenher. Her grandchildren, Stacy (Jeff) Gautier, Brian (Danielle) Winterringer, Patrick McCloskey, Ashley (Riley) Cote, Michael Constantini, Kevin Constantini, Jessica Fetkenher, David Fetkenher, and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Midge and Verino Pettinaro, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Cheryl Constantini, grandson Jeffrey Winterringer, and sister Joan Scanlon.

A viewing will be held from 5:00 - 7:00pm on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Church, Cedar and Clayton Streets, Wilmington, DE 19805. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
