Alice V. (Marchant) Ferguson

Alice V. (Marchant) Ferguson peacefully passed away at the age of 95 on Wednesday, July 19, 2017.

Alice was born in Wilmington on February 8, 1922, daughter of the late Frank and Sarah (Conaway) Marchant.  A loving and devoted homemaker throughout most of her life, she supported the country during World War II by working at Dravo Ship Yard, Penna. Railroad, and Belanca Aircraft.  Alice was an avid golfer and a former member of the Sakima Country Club, Carney’s Point, NJ.  She enjoyed dancing, and was also a member of Post Cana – Talleyville, the Fraim Senior Center Jug Band, and the Order of the Eastern Star – Five Points Chapter #13. 

Her husband, Paul J. Ferguson, Sr., passed away in 1976.

Alice is survived by her sons, Paul J. Ferguson, Jr. and wife, Nancy, Thomas W. Ferguson and wife, Linda; her granddaughters, Tracy Ferguson-Spink (Dan), Kathy Ferguson (Donnie Bower), Kristine Fox (Larry), Patti Ferguson (PJ Tipton) and Aimee Guernsey (Chace); her great grandchildren, Joseph Ferguson, Brandon Ferguson, Stephan Fox, Robert Fox (Alicia), Tyler Fox, Kayleigh Fox, Donnie Fox, Brittini Ferguson (Michael Mantegna), Nickolas Darga, Jordyn Darga, Tommy Darga, Jesse Dargo, Lacy Darga, Kendall Tipton, Brett Guernsey, Natalie Guernsey; her great-great grandchildren, Jaxin Fox and Sophia Mantegna.

Funeral services will be held privately for family.
