William W. McNabb

William Wren McNabb peacefully passed away at the age of 77 on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.

Bill was born in Wilmington on May 7, 1940, son of the late Jesse and Katherine (Wren) McNabb.  He served as Director of Overseas Studies in the Center for International Studies at the University of Delaware and had the privilege of traveling with students to various destinations around the world.  He retired from his position in 2006.  Bill was a faithful member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, where he served in the parish choir, and volunteered in the operation of the parish religious goods store and the annual Italian Festival.

Bill is survived by his husband, Paul Insolo.

Friends are invited to visit at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 9th and DuPont Streets, Wilmington on Saturday, April 7 from 9:30 – 10:30AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 405 E. Marsh Lane, Newport, DE 19804.
