Robert G. (Bobby) Streb

Robert (Bobby) Streb, 80, a lifelong resident of Wilmington, Delaware passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017.

Bobby was a veteran of the Army and a Senior Master Sargeant of the Air Force National Guard of Delaware for 38 years.  A master plumber by trade he retired in 1997.  He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and the VFW.

Bobby enjoyed his train set which he made a replica of the Amtrak Station in Wilmington and surrounding areas. He also enjoyed his boat and crabbing.

In addition to his parents, John and Elsie (Maczynski) Streb, he was preceded in death by his brother, John (Butchie) Streb.

He is survived by his sisters, Phyllis Holford (Richard) and Elizabeth (Betty) Petka and several nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to a good friend and neighbor, Mary Hillinger for all her help and kindness.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Wilmington, Delaware 19808.

Interment will follow in the Cathedral Cemetery Chapel.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
