Kenneth J. Mick

Kenneth J. Mick, age 58, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully in his wife’s arms on Monday, January 29, 2018.

Born in Elmer, NJ, Ken was the son of the late Ann C. (Horn) and Theodore M. Mick, Sr. He was a graduate of Glassboro High School. For over 11 years, Ken worked in building sales at Marjam Supply Company.

Ken is survived by his wife of 13 years, Heather (Abbott) Mick; his step-children, Alexis and Antonio; his brother, Robert Mick (Doy); his sister, Dorothy Mick; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Theodore M. Mick, Jr.; and his sister, Judy Mick.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, February 6 from 3 to 5 PM at Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808. A Celebration of Ken’s Life will begin at 5 PM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Autism Delaware, 924 Old Harmony Rd., Newark, DE 19713.
