Andrew J. Weichert, 26, of Newark was called home to the Lord on Tuesday, November 14, 2017.

A graduate of John Dickinson High School, class of 2009, Andrew was most recently employed with Boscov’s Department Store in Newark.  He was a passionate video game enthusiast, enjoyed going out to breakfast, and occasionally sang with the St. James Episcopal Mill Creek choir.  He had a great sense of humor as well as an infectious laugh.  Andrew loved spending time with his family, and was especially devoted to his beloved nieces, Lily and Isabela.  He was also the loving caretaker of his two cats, Dulce and Reina.

Andrew will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Susan (Forster) St. John and Keith St. John with whom he lived, and Kenneth Weichert, Sr.; his brother, Kenneth Weichert, Jr.; his sister, Dana (Weichert) Garcia and her husband, J. Eduardo Garcia. 

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Tuesday, November 21 from 9:00-11:00AM, with a Resurrection Service immediately following.  Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Andrew may be made to the US Autism & Asperger Association, Attn: DNFRM, 12180 S. 300 E. #532, Draper, UT 84020-0532 (www.usautism.org).
